Fontevecchia Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore 2017

Pale to golden in color with a nice minerally/citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose spot on with beautiful vibrant minerality along with some nice citrus and green apple notes. There’s some noticeable limestone/metallic/flint notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice vibrant food friendly acidity … nice and dry. It sticks to the tongue nicely with some nice mouth grip. We paired it with some roast pork and it cut through the fat and flavors beautifully complimenting it nicely. I would give it an 88 … Quite nice as long as you like minerally/acidity … From the LCBO web site: Check stock Thanks Greg for the suggestion!
