Tarlant Brut Reserve Champagne

I’ve recently been learning a little more about Champagne and this one was submitted to me as a reasonably priced, relatively available Champagne. My go to for presents is usually a Pol Roger which is $69.25, this one is $43.65. Pale/straw in color with some nice rich toasty notes coming through. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with nice toasty notes being dominant along with some apple/pear. It displays some creamy notes but milder. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice crisp dryness, minerality and citrus. For the price, this is not a bad champagne. I would give it an -88. Check stock
