Domäne Wachau Terrassen Federspiel Riesling 2018

Pale in color with a nice crisp, dry nose with some honey suckle coming through. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with some nice varietal honey suckle notes with some nice dryness and minerality. On the medium length finish the wine displays some lively acidity and some citrus notes. This is not as complex or long as some Alsatian wines, but quite good none the less. I would give it an -88, super food friendly!

Subtle notes of mandarin and pear play gently alongside lemon on the aromatic nose. The palate is juicy and mild and the warm vintage expresses itself in citrus pith rather than zest. The finish is dry and fresh. Score – 89. (Anne Krebiehl, MW, Wine Enthusiast, July 1, 2019)Read Less
