Johnny Q Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Inky dark in color with a dark berry nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with black cherries, a hint of blueberry, and some oaky notes, it’s definitely a fruit forward wine.. On the mid length finish the wine displays some smooth tannins and acidity. I would give it an 88 or so.

Alcohol/Vol 14.5% Made in: South Australia, Australia By: Quarisa Sugar Content: 6 g/L Sweetness Descriptor:XD – Extra Dry Style:Full-bodied & Firm Description: TASTING NOTE: The aromatic properties of this still-youthful wine come to life with some air. It’s densely structured with superb intensity, juicy ripe black fruit, cassis, smoke and spice in abundance. A big, burly wine with great balance and integration that punches well above its price point. Enjoy this with steak. (Vintages panel, May 2018)
