2016 G. Marquis Pinot Noir

I’ve had this wine for a couple of vintages now and been impressed with it, quite good, I last wrote up the 2014 vintage. It’s made by Magnotta and G. Marquis is a premium label for them. Garnet in color with a nice strawberry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays nice firm strawberry and red berries notes to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine has some firm tannins, nice acidity and nice dryness. This is quite a good pinot, a perfect pairing for any poultry. I would give it an 88 or so.
