Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Pale in color with a mild citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice subtle citrus notes to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice acidity and dryness. The minerality comes through nicely. This is a softer, more elegant style of sauv blanc so be careful what you pair it with because it can easily be overcome. To my tastes this is not quite what I look for in a sauv blanc, especially given the price. I would give it an 88-
