Chateau Haut Sociondo 2014

Every now and then a reasonably priced Bordeaux comes along. This is one of them. Dark in color with a nice mild dark berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice rick black berries, some mocha/coffee notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice smooth tannins, acidity, dryness and complexity. It is very nice 88+, which for the price is excellent. This is a right bank wine from Blaye Cotes du bordeaux.
