2014 Cannonball cab sauv

I’ve had this wine over a number of vintages and sadly it has been inconsistent. Inky dark in color with a nice fruity red cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with lovely red cherry notes. At first there was a hint of herbaceous notes but this passed super quickly. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice acidity and mild tannins. Not a bad cab at all. I would give it an 88 or so. It has some nice mouth grip best experienced without food.
