2013 Rocca delle Macìe Chianti Classico

Dark in color with a mild lovely red berry nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice mild red fruits, cherries and the like along with some nice dried fruit notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice acidity firm tannins and dryness that builds nicely in the mouth. This is a varietal well made Chianti classico. I would give it a solid 88. It will pair well with any red sauce or red meat. Yumm.
