2014 Wakefield Shiraz (mini review)

Dark in color with a nice nose of black berries. On the mid palate this is a classic aussie shiraz displaying some nice black berries to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice smooth tannins and acidity. It’s a bit high in alcohol so it may need a bit of breathing depending on your tastes. A classic shiraz. It’s an essential so readily available. I would give it an 88 or so.
