2015 Lacey PEC county fruit Pinot Noir (mini review)

Garnet in color with a nice varietal nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice varietal soft red fruits, strawberry/raspberry and the like along with some nice rustic notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice smooth acidity and tannins. A very nice pinot from the county. Sadly not in the LCBO, $25 a bottle at/from the winery. As always with Prince Edward County wineries, you have to ask where the fruit is from. In this case it’s 100% county fruit!
