2014 Sterling Vintner’s Chardonnay

Golden in color with a nice apple and pear nose, spot on for a chard. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with some lovely chard fruit coming through, apple and pear. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice butterscotch and vanilla. A spot on California chard. We paired it with pan seared scallops, yum it went well and complemented the meal. I would give it an 88-89.
