2015 Ara Pathway Sauv Blanc

Sauv Blancs are best enjoyed why the fruits are vibrant and young. Ara Pathway has consistently been a very good Sauv Blanc for a number of years, it is a general list product so readily available. This is my first hit at the 2015. Pale in color with a nice grassy nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice grassy notes to match the nose along with some pink grapefruit and some citrus notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice lively fresh acidity. A very food friendly wine. We paired it with a bacon fettucine alfredro and it went well. I would give it an 88+
