2014 Whitehaven Sauv Blanc

Pale in color with nice mild grassy citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine spot on matches the nose with some nice grassy notes along with some nice citrus. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice crisp acidity. This is a nice smooth varietal New Zealand Sauv blanc. Very food friendly. Not the boldest I’ve had but smooth. I’m not sure I would say it’s “light” as the LCBO describe it, but heh. I would give it an 88+. Quite nice. In case you go looking for this wine, it’s in the general list (not vintages).
