Casetta Barbaresco 2010

Dark in color with a nice soft red berry nose. On the mid palate there are some nice light berries to match the nose along with some nice dried fruits. This is a softer barbaresco with some nice smooth dryness and tannins. I would give it an 88-89. Very nice.

Casetta Barbaresco 2010 — VINTAGES#: 412247
Style – Medium-bodied & Fruity  ›
Opens with enchanting aromas of red cherry, potpourri, pecan, pine cone and tar. There’s equal complexity on the palate, with nice echoes of the nose, substantial tannins and good solid structure. This promises to age well for 5+ years, though there’s no need to wait – it’s showing beautifully now. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2015) $27.95
