Ballast Stone Windjammer Shiraz 2012

Inky dark in color with a mild nose of black berries. On the mid palate the displays some lovely rich black berries to match the nose. Not quite blueberry but close. On the medium length finish the wine displays bright acidity, strong pepper and spice notes along with some nice tannins. This is a big and bold shiraz. Yummy. I would give it an 89-90. Grab it while you can! A classic Aussie shiraz. Did I mention Yumm?
