Casas del Bosque Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Pale in color with a nice smooth green grassy nose along with some citrus notes. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with some nice smooth citrus notes, some pink grapefruit along with some grassy under tones. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice lively acidity. It’s a smooth well made sauv blanc. Not as edgy as some but quite nice. It gets even better as it warms up. I would give it an 88-89. Very nice.

Casas del Bosque Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2014 —VINTAGES#: 974717Casas del Bosque
STYLE – Aromatic & Flavourful
Casas del Bosque makes some of the most pungent, expressive Sauvignon Blancs in Chile. This vintage fits the blueprint; it’s forward, punchy and full of passion fruit, white grapefruit and tarragon on both the bouquet and palate. Shows mineral components, saline and scallion on the finish. A high-quality wine with a commensurate price tag. Score – 90. (Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast, June 2012) $13.95
