2011 Unoaked O’Leary chardonnay mini review

A wine from Mr. Wonderful (from Dragons Den), who could ask for more :). Ok bias up front unoaked chards are not to my tastes. Pale in color with a mild nose. On the mid pallet this wine is a very mild slightly fruit forward, slightly sweet chablis style chard. It’s on the lighter side of medium on the finish and builds slightly in the mouth. This is a good summer sipper for sitting on the patio. I would give it an 87-88 or so. Not a bad wine, but I wouldn’t be rushing out to grab them either, but remember it’s not my style of chard anyway.
