Borgogno 2010 Barbera D’Alba Superiore

Trialto recently held a Borgogno Barolo tasting at the fine wine reserve!

Dark in color with a fair amount of wood on the nose. On the mid pallet this is a semi sweet fruit forward easy drinking wine. On the medium finish there are some fine tannins and some bright acidity. I would give it an 88-89. A very food friendly wine. Available by the half case for $19.95 a bottle from Trialto, not in the LCBO yet but coming in Nov to Vintages.

The winery.
