2009 Rosehall Run Chard Cuvee County mini review

Another one I tasted this one at the Toronto Wine and Spirits festival. This wine is made from county fruit. If you are tasting Prince Edward County wines you have to ask. They sometimes bring in fruit from Niagara to keep the equipment busy. This one is not. Be sure to read my write ups from my two trips to PEC if your heading out there! Trip 1 and Trip 2!

Pale in color with a mild nose. On the mid pallet this wine is beautiful fruit forward chard. The oak is well under with little to no vanilla present. On the finish there is some light acidity but little to disturb the beautiful fruit coming out of this wine. I would give it a solid 89. Unfortunately none of it left in the LCBO when I checked 🙁

Check LCBO stock.
