2009 Peninsula Ridge Sauvignon Blanc

I’m a lover of Sauv blancs. I quite enjoy the citrus, boystrous style of Sauv Blancs. They make fabulous food friendly wines. This wine is very pale in color with a mild citrus nose. On the mid pallet this is a lovely smooth citrusy wine with lots of layers on a medium finish. It builds nicely in the mouth. This one can give New Zealand Sauv blancs a run for the money and for me this is one of the best Sauv blancs coming out of Niagara. And it’s reasonably priced! I would give this a 90 with extra bonus point for price! Check it out!

From the LCBO web site Careful … the one in the LCBO when I checked is a 2008 that is not as good.
