BLACKSTONE WINEMAKER’S SELECT CHARDONNAY 2010

This was one of the stars from the California wine show I attended at the Royal York. Pale in color with a lovely varietal nose with some butterscotch coming through. On the mid pallet this is a spot on California style chard! Lots of lovely butterscotch and some lovely fruit forward tastes coming through. On the finish this wine is medium in length with absolutely no tartness at all. Start to finish a very nice wine. And when you add in the price, $15.95 this is a great value. I will buy one and give it a more thorough tasting! I would give it an 89-90.

Check LCBO stock.
