2006 Leonardo Da Vinci Chianti

We had this wine at Ruth’s Chris in Mississauga. Dark in color with a mild nose of red berries. On the mid pallet this is a lovely varietal Chianti. Nice red berries coming through. Round in the mouth with lots to like. On the finish this wine has some lovely dry pucker power as well as some smooth velvety tannins on a medium finish. We paired it with steak and it held up quite well. I would give it an 90.
