2008 Molino Barbaresco Teorema mini tasting

I tasted this wine at the Gourmet Food and Wine show. Dark in color, with an odd earthy nose. On the mid pallet this wine has that super dry pucker power, suck the moisture right off your tongue that is in keeping with a Barbaresco. It builds very nicely with some cherries and dried fruits coming through on the long finish. This is a beefy well made Barbaresco. Yum, one of my favorites of the show. I would give it a solid 90. It’s $35 a bottle but unfortunately not available in the LCBO. Only on consignment from LaCantina Imports so by the case.
