2008 J.P. Chenet Pinot Noir

I had this one at the iYellow Pinot event. This one has a fancy bottle … woohoo, and it’s from France, must be good no? 🙂 Ruby in color with an earthy funky nose not uncommon with Pinot Noirs. On the mid pallet this is a mild varietal pinot noir with some rustic flavors. The wine is on the lighter side of medium. This would be a very food friendly wine but for me there is not a lot going on. Now for the price this is not a bad deal. I would give it an 88 or so.
