Naked Grape Sauv Blanc

I was at Jack Astor’s this weekend and chose their Butter chicken so I wanted a nice Sauv Blanc to go with it. I previously reviewed this wine and enjoyed it. So I chose it again … The wine is pale in color mild on the nose with some citrus coming through. On the mid pallet this is a varietal Sauv blanc with some nice lemon, and grass coming through. It cut through the butter chicken nicely and complimented it well. On the finish the wine is on the lighter side of medium. Not sweet at all. This is a pretty well made Sauv Blanc and for the money is a good deal. I would give it an 88 or so. Yumm. Be sure and give it a try!
