2009 Robertson Sauv Blanc

I’ve written about this wine a number of times and it is continuing to be consistent. For a wine as inexpensive as this that’s impressive. The wine is pale in color with lovely cirtus coming through on the nose. On the mid pallet are lovely cirtus to match the bouqet along with some lemon and grass. This is a spot on varietal Sauv blanc. On the finish the wine is medium in length with a nice lingering citrus flavor living on in the mouth. This is a VERY food friendly wine. I would give it a solid 88-89. Try some, you won’t be disappointed (if you like Sauv blancs!).
