L’Ecole No 41 Estate Perigree 2007

Another wine from the Calibrium hosted L’Ecole tasting event where they showcased 8 wines from the Columbia Valley in Washington. None of these wines are available at the LCBO so you will have to buy a case from them 🙂

This wine is 60% Cab Sauv, 30% Merlot 10% Cab Franc.

The wine is surprisingly quite mild on the nose with the usual dark fruits coming through. On the mid pallet comes some lovely bold, deep rich dark fruits, cherries and the cab franc being easy to pick out. On the finish the wine has some lovely tannins and a medium to long finish. This is another well made wine from these folks. I would give this one a 91! If it wasn’t for the $63 price tag I would be getting some of this … It’s available in cases of 6x750ml. Wow another lovely wine!
