ARGENTO MALBEC

When you need an inexpensive quaffing wine to go with dinner there are lots of choose from, not all of them great. This wine is quite dark in color mild on the nose for a Malbec. On the mid pallet the wine has some ok flavors, some cherries, alcohol is well under control and tannins are mild. On the finish the wine is on the lighter side of medium with a bit of dryness. This is a fairly smooth Malbec with the edges smoothed out. You will never mistake this for an expensive wine, but for the price it’s not bad at all. I would give it an 86-87 or so.
