WENTE MORNING FOG CHARDONNAY

Another one from the Churchill wine cellars annual portfolio tasting. One of the things that I like about this event is they do a great job of documenting the wine you are tasting. They tell you the price, the LCBO number and whether it is general list, vintages etc. Nice job folks.

This wine is pale in color with a mild varietal slightly sweet chard on the nose. On the mid pallet the wine is a medium chard with some buttery flavors and some nice fruit at play. The finish is medium in length with some creamyness coming through and a very slight bit of tartness to balance the sweetness. I would give this an 89. Not bad at all …
