Inky dark in color with a mild nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some dark cherries, and dark chocolate notes. On the medium length finish the wine displays some firm tannins and acidity, not by any means harsh, but not elegant either, nice and dry. The fruit is bit on the muted side compared to the finish. I would give it a 87-88 or so, not bad at all for the price. This is definitely ready to drink now and may keep for a bit, but I’m not sure it will improve much. We come down to if I had more, I wouldn’t take it back, but I’m not rushing over to grab more either … From the LCBO web site, check stock:
