2017 Novas Gran Reserva Sauvignon Blanc Organic

Pale in color with a crisp nice citrus nose. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice citrus, and pink grapefruit notes to match the nose. On the medium length finish the wine display lovely dryness, and acidity. Without food the wine’s lively acidity dances on the tongue building nicely. With food it is less pronounced. This is a beautiful food friendly wine. Nice crisp, dry and bold just how I like them. I would give it an -88 or so. It was one of the standouts from the recent Chilean wine fest held at the ROM, so I searched around and found a bottle to do a deeper dive. We paired it with pan fried steak, kidney and mushroom, and it held up well. Lots of depth. Very nice indeed. The LCBO say Aromatic and Falvorful … I agree totally.
