Château d’Argadens Blanc 2016

Pale in color with a nice citrus note. On the mid palate the wine displays some nice crisp citrus notes to match the nose along with some floral hints. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice crisp food friendly acidity. White Bordeaux = Sauv Blanc often blended with Semillon and this one is pretty much what you’d expect. It’s a softer, more refined, less boisterous sauv blanc. I’d give it an 88 or so. There are more expressive sauv blancs from Ne Zealand for similar to lower prices but it depends on what your looking for.
