Perlage Pinot Grigio 2016

The LCBO release before Christmas is packed with expensive wines for gifts. Not a release to look for bargains. The release just after Christmas, this one in fact, is called a value release when you realize your credit cards are maxed and you need some wine to nurse the realization you spent way to much again at Christmas 🙂 Ok onto this wine. Pale in color with a nice crisp nose displaying lots of minerality. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with nice crisp dry notes and loads of minerality. On the medium length finish the wine displays some nice tartness and acidity that lingers in the mouth. This is a super food friendly wine, and not bad pinot grigio for the price. I would give it an -88.
