Arboleda Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Inky dark in color with a nice vibrant cherry nose. On the mid palate the wine matches the nose with nice dark cherries coming through along with some oak. I previously reviewed the 2008 vintage of this wine and loved it. This vintage is not as bold as the 2008, but still quite good. On the medium length finish the wine displays some lovely smooth tannins, dryness and acidity. This is a lovely wine. I would give it an 88+ and very varietal. Given the tannins I would say it should keep quite nicely. This is spot on varietal to my tastes. The LCBO call it full bodied and firm and I would whole heartedly agree!
