2009 Hidden Bench Felseck vineyard Pinot Noir

I’ve had this one in my cellar for quite a while now and thought it was time to crack it. Couldn’t wait any longer 🙂 Nice garnet in color with a lovely varietal rustic nose along with some typical barnyard, earthy hints. On the mid palate the wine displays some lovely varietal pinot noir notes to match the nose. Soft red berries, rustic notes and the like. On the medium length finish the wine still has some lovely lively acidity and tannins. This is still a beautiful wine and could have cellared even longer. I would give it an 89+. It was $29.95 at the winery. Yumm.
